sorry about the date of death, I was confused because everyone was writing on Friday 17th that he died on Thursday ... finally, http://www.digi.no/php/art.php?id=296375 looks clear that it referes to the previous week

Is there any reason, other than regarding Geir's valuable works, to say opera has become "very popular" these days? Even the most extreme statistics are far from very popular.
