Dear Simon, do relax. There is no "copyright issue to resolve". The text I posted is biographical material from official websites, who are extremely unlikely to notice, and even less likely to care, that it has been temporarily copied into a Wikipedia page so that someone can rework it into an article. People should really try to maintain some sense of proportion about these issues. I will write a proper article when I get time if no-one else does first. Adam 04:47, 6 Feb 2004 (UTC)

A copyright violation is a copyright violation. If you want to work on a copyrighted article in your own personal space, on your own PC, then fine. When it's done, move it here. But don't move copyrighted material into Wikipedia space. RickK 04:50, 6 Feb 2004 (UTC)

Copyright is a system for protecting intellectual property. I seriously doubt that any court would find that Gaston Thorn's birth date is anyone's intellectual property. Adam 04:54, 6 Feb 2004 (UTC)

There was considerably more to it than his birth date. RickK 04:57, 6 Feb 2004 (UTC)
