Dear Sir, The information I last uploaded on this page was a direct result of research I performed for a Johns Hopkins University paper on the GLO. I am not sure why the need to delete pertain information on this listing. The idea on my research was to investigate the purpose and use of the GLO. This is why I inputted the historical plaque information that is directly from the site. I would respectfully ask you to return my citation.

Caretaker's House edit

I was just at the park today, and I didn't see a caretaker's house as described in the article. In fact, there no building anywhere near 70 feet from the observatory.
