Updated information edit

Reiterating the "Are there any sources about this?", the sole citation is a 404 (with no date of when it was initially retrieved). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.140.100.170 (talk) 14:11, 5 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Labor broker edit

If there's somebody, who knows the exact details about the prosecution and condemnation of this person somewhere in the seventees for tax fraud and/or other usual labor brokers sins, let him/her ad a section about it. (provincial and maybe national papers are available as sources). Natubico (talk) 18:24, 1 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Pro-cyclist??? edit

"...and still has a pro-license, which makes him the world's oldest active pro-cyclist."

Two things:

  • Are there any sources about this?
  • How can someone be pro-cyclist, when he has completely different professional activities? He hasn't got a contract, unless maybe with his himself as a sponsor and maybe once a year takes part in a contest. How much do these pro-licences cost nowadays and are they available in webshops as well? Natubico (talk) 21:58, 1 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Racing licenses, both pro as well as amateur, are issued by the governing body for cycling of the country of the rider. I imagine the fees vary from country to country. Whether or not just anyone with the required cash can obtain a pro license, I am not sure, but I wouldn't be surprised that at least initially, one must demonstrate some level of ability at the amateur level.69.29.207.109 (talk) 04:40, 21 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Ten records? edit

"He is mainly known for his ten world records cycling behind heavy engines"

So many different records in one discipline? Which ones? Or should it be "ten times breaking a record"? Natubico (talk) 22:55, 1 January 2008 (UTC)`Reply

In the List of cycling records the only official worldrecord in paced cycling is the speedrecord (behind a racing car).
As for cycling behind motorbikes there seem to be no official UCI-world-records, be it that in a few papers something can be found about a world-hour record and a 100 kilometers-record.
But it's very questionable that these are official UCI-records.
Even more questionable is what the other eight or nine woldrecords in this discipline could be, that according to the article have been broken by the person it is about.
It really seems to be unavoidable to remove the relevant sentence in the article if not soon sources are provided that can state it's credibility. 212.182.183.38 (talk) 21:46, 27 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

What year? edit

".....try to break his own World Record later this year."

What year? Not 2007? How did it go? Nothing about this on Google. Somebody else was going to try in okt.. But a 62 years old trying to break his own speedrecord? They're not going to attach that bike to that car (again)? Natubico (talk) 23:19, 1 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
