Stubs
editStubs: As Sinclair was born in England, and plays for an English club, he clearly merits an England footy stub. However, as he plays for Jamaica, it is appropriate to give him a North America stub too.--Runcorn 07:09, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
There's no need to have two stub tags, as I have yet to see an article other than this with two of them. Also, the first tag says it related to North American football. Sinclair never played for a North American team, so he is unrelated in any way to North American football. Cryptic C62 21:45, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
- I believe that both stubs are needed, because of the unusual circumstance of an English-born footballer playing for an English club but for another country internationally. NorthAm is the correct stub for the West Indies ("This covers all countries in the CONCACAF region, including North and Central America, the Caribbean, and Guiana"); there is no other footy stub for that part of the world.--Runcorn 22:14, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
Frank has represented Jamaica in the World Cup. The world cup is the worlds biggest stage and MUST be represented here. --Skydivemayday 09:12, 23 June 2006 (UTC)
Own goals
editI don't think the own goals were in succesive games. I'm sure we played Arsenal in the first game of the season, which he scored an own goal the we played Coventry on the Wednesday, which he didn't then we played Chelsea the following Saturday in which he again scored an own goal. I'll try and find out, watch this space. Jimmmmmmmmm 22:28, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
It's true there was a Coventry game in between. I changed in accordingly. The youtube commentry is wrong but Soccerbase give you the fixture for that season. Jimmmmmmmmm 22:40, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
- Anybody think it is worth noting that the Chelsea goal had Martin O'Neill furious, because it came 2 1/2 minutes into the supposed 1 minute of stoppage time, and that from the following week, the amount of stoppage time was announced over the tannoy at Filbert St, where previously only the board was shown. (I have no sources for this) Guinness 12:16, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
Other Honours
editIt says he's the Jamaican Tiddlywinks champion, and the thing about frogs. These aren't referenced, and I know that Tiddlywinks is not played competitively in Jamaica, there is no Jamaican tiddlywinks association
