The ebook The Routledge Companion to Global Internet Histories edited by Gerard Goggin, Mark McLelland on P.185 ISBN: 9781317607656 in chapter? A brief history of the Taiwanese internet indicates there ought to be a potential merge target to Power BBS which was the ancestor .. - BBS relationships .. I am unable to confirm 100% accuracy but it shows the general gist of where Firebird BBS sits.
Development opportunity edit
This seems to be a significant BBS in the development of Chinese language BBS. However I do not believe it is sufficiently notable on its own. An article covering the development of Chinese language BBS would be more useful ... which may be achieved by renaming this to *perhaps* Formosa BBS and developing the family from that. However I certainly need more time to check this out fully (I may not succeed) and I don't want to rush a page rename until I am read to do so. P185 of The Routledge Companion to Global Internet Histories gives some information that appears to have backing from independent sources. - As you will appreciate, or perhaps seem not to appreciate, I am quite busy. I am also dealing with other issues both RL (I've had to organise the doctor at the for someone yesterday and that has and is having knock on impact) and otherwise at the moment. Even you yourself are continuing to PROD at a significant rate which quite frankly is not helpful. So there is no rush. I think I demonstrated previously I will not attempt to improve an article unless I have a reasonable chance of success. There is no reason to rush.
