Tomato salad edit

I've also seen a tomato (timatim?) fit-fit which resembled a salad: chopped tomatoes, onions and jalapenos mixed with lemon juice, oil and injera pieces. Additionally there is yebeg (lamb) fit-fit in which chunks of lamb are mixed with injera pieces and broth. I wouldn't have thought either of these are breakfast foods. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 19:02, 4 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Nomenclature edit

I've removed the following sentence: "In Ethiopia, fit-fit is made without berbere while fir-fir is made with berbere." This is incorrect (or at the very least, it lacks a source). I've removed it from the article. I would suggest instead that with fir-fir, the injera (or kitcha etc.) is cooked along with the sauce, whereas with fit-fit they are simply mixed together. But as I don't have a source for that, I won't add it to the article. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 17:29, 9 September 2013 (UTC)Reply
