...Keira slips in to the river...
editUh, Keira didn't slip, she was pushed? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.88.182.88 (talk) 14:25, 19 February 2010 (UTC)
Summary
editThe summary is a big lengthy and could use some organization to help the reader. An excellent start, mind. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.157.183.252 (talk) 20:12, 1 March 2010 (UTC)
I attempted to clean up the article somewhat. I deleted a few lines of the plot. Please feel free to revert it back to the original document if you are unhappy with the changes I made. (Galaxycat (talk) 19:27, 25 September 2010 (UTC))
- Nicely done Galaxycat, a very good summary Bill shannon (talk) 04:54, 13 April 2011 (UTC)
If Mia merely "overhears" Conor's sexual coupling with her mother, why should Conor "look in [Mia's] direction," perhaps seeing her? Although indeed lengthy, the summary is elliptical here. Mucketymuck (talk) 04:25, 18 October 2020 (UTC)
Keira's disappearance
editThis is a part of the plot about which I am confused. When Mia returns to Connor's house with his daughter, the house is dark and it does not appear that her parents are overly concerned. Surely, if their child went missing, they would be actively looking for her. Even if Connor realised that Mia took her, I would have though that he would have made more of an effort to locate his daughter as it appears that she disappeared from the family home for several hours. (Galaxycat (talk) 12:24, 5 December 2010 (UTC))
- Actually, we're not 100% sure that Connor and his wife were even home, because Mia just sorta dropped Keira off. So they might have been out looking at that time. Bill shannon (talk) 04:54, 13 April 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks. Yes, that might be the case. It is just that when Mia brought Keira back to the house, I was expecting the house to be surrounded by police cars and news vans etc., as when a child goes missing and parents report it to the police, the police usually respond quite quickly. I just assumed that Keira's disappearance would have been reported immediately.(Galaxycat (talk) 23:29, 14 August 2011 (UTC))
Title meaning
editCan anyone shed some light on the meaning of the title? Is it some kind of slang that escapes me? Bill shannon (talk) 04:54, 13 April 2011 (UTC)
Hello. I would be grateful if someone could quote a source which explains the significance of the title. I, too, am curious. Thank you. (Galaxycat (talk) 16:44, 1 August 2012 (UTC))
- Here. And here. Lugnuts (talk) 18:49, 1 August 2012 (UTC)
Thank you... I guess that means that we shall have to keep exploring. (Galaxycat (talk) 20:28, 1 August 2012 (UTC))
