Talk:First Federal Basketball League

Latest comment: 8 years ago by Cyberbot II in topic External links modified

This should be updated and split after the split of Serbia and Montenegro completes. The SFRY part should be separated due to the major differences in club roster. Cf. Basketball in Yugoslavia. --Joy [shallot] 21:21, 17 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:YUBA logo.jpg

edit

Image:YUBA logo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Yugoslavia, not Serbia

edit

This is Yugoslav championship, not Serbian. Even Serbian club sites make difference between these two championships. See the very references:

official website archive http://www.kls.rs/History2.aspx Istorijat Državnih prvenstava 1945 - 1991, [[Basketball League of Serbia. Accessdate = 2010-12-02.
official website archive http://www.kls.rs/History4.aspx Tabele državnih prvenstava od sezone 1991/92, Basketball League of Serbia. Accessdate = 2010-12-02.

This article should refer to 1945-1991. Pantagana (talk) 15:56, 4 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Now the problem is that seasons 92-06 are included neither here nor in Basketball League of Serbia, while some parts of this article (names, famous players) still incule this period. The second problem is this sentence: "the 1980s saw a disappointing slump of talent in the Yugoslav Basketball League." What does that suppose to mean? Cibona won Euroleague 1984-85, 1985-86 and Saporta Cup 1981-82, 1986-87.Linhart (talk) 10:41, 15 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
A separate article for the 1991-2006 period should be created, and the information referent to that period should be added there. FkpCascais (talk) 12:56, 15 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Yugoslav First Basketball League. Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:

  • Attempted to fix sourcing for //nsl.kosarka.co.yu/History4.aspx

When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}).
