Unattractive towns

The line carefully misses all the unattractive towns of south Fife? Laurel Bush 11:54, 4 April 2006 (UTC).

This article does seem like a bit of a rant about the East of Scotland transport system in parts, for example the bit about Haymarket. Paddington station and Fenchurch Street station don't have "London" in them, probably because the majority of rail users should have enough brain cells to rub together to realise they are in London. With regards to unnatractive towns, I think the south of Fife is beautiful, and the line does pass through all the attractive towns, although it does pass through unattractive ones as well, eg. Rosyth. The line "It links all the attractive towns of south Fife", although perhaps a little subjective for Wikipedia, is fine, as upon reading it one would not automatically assume that it therefore misses all the unattractive towns of south Fife. If one were to say "the West Coast Main Line links all the major cities of the west of England" one would not automatically assume that it does not link minor places like Long Buckby, Atherstone and Congleton as well. Category:Railway loop lines

An anon IP is adding Category:Railway loop lines to the article. The definition of the category is "Railway lines which form a circular route around cities", which the Fife Circle does not. --Stewart ^{(talk | edits)} 14:32, 7 November 2010 (UTC)
