Thanks for your excellent addition of Fiacha an tSolais. This is just a minor quibble about the translation of "d'aon turas". You have Isn't it obvious that he darkens himself with intent. Wouldn't a more idiomatic English translation be Isn't it obvious that he darkens himself on purpose.

But I leave the decision to you.
