Talk:Federalist No. 45

The Historical Implications section strikes me as pretty opinionated. The initial quote is from a NY Times Opinion piece, which is a troubling start, and later experiences with states nullifying Federal drug law and immigration policy argue against its conclusion. The following statement that "The 10th Amendment… has preserved the powers of the federal and state governments until present day since 1791," is completely unsupported by the source given, and would be hard to definitively justify in any case. The whole section seems motivated by an urge to provide a conclusion, and I think the article would be more appropriate if the section were simply removed rather than rewritten.
