I think most of this article should be a Wikibook rather than a Wikipedia article. It reads more like an assembly manual and advertizing whitepaper than like an article defining the term “FarmBot”.
Besides that, I doubt the neutrality. (Except for syntax and grammar fixes, the entire article has been written by a single user.) I feel that many positive statements are far from a realistic reality, or are just worded to sound positive. For example the following statement:
- It is estimated that the FarmBot Genesis produces 25% fewer carbon dioxide emissions than standard US food production.[1]
Here the referenced blog post seems to doubt the 25% number rather than backing it. 91.96.23.230 (talk) 17:41, 8 March 2023 (UTC)
- I agree. This article reads like a combination promotional brochure and how-to manual with lots of excessive detail which, were it a pop culture subject, would rightly be called "cruft." I have a feeling I'm going to get a lot of hate for this, but I've gone through and pruned out the geeky stuff in favor of the general interest reader. Anyone who wants to do a deep dive can follow the external links to the project's own website. Just Another Cringy Username (talk) 20:46, 28 June 2023 (UTC)
