Use of Italian

edit

I'm new to wikipedia and so I'm not sure how some things are done on these pages. I spent a couple of months in Fano and so I wanted to help expand the page.

I'm not sure about how Italian should be used on these pages vs. English.

For example, the Arch of Augustus is listed as the Arco' d' Augusto, but the caption on the picture calls it the Arch of Augustus. Is it typical to list things in Italian and then parenthetically in English or the other way around? Or is there no standard for this type of thing?

On September 23, 2015, I removed three of the five External Links on this page. They were

  • www.fanodeicesari.com/ - which McAfee listed as a risky site
  • www.moonlightfestival.com/ - which was a dead site (routed to URL that sells sites)
  • www.fanojazz.org/jazz_by_the_sea.htm - the original site had been abandoned or hijacked by what appears to be a Japanese site - there is an event by this name, but this isn't the URL anymore.

False information and/or misinformation about Fano

edit

Fano is a group of innocent civilians from Amhara region that come together to defend their nation, brothers and sisters from any attack or intruders from waging any type of attack, atrocoties, rape and genocide. An investigation done by a biased organizations cannot be a premises to come out on Wikipedia and demonize a group of people that come from over 40 million which is Amhara. When you demonize Fano youre demonizing Amhara people of over 40 million, and this is very shameful for Wikipedia to allow TPLF supporters to label millions of people. Fano is a highly mannered, law abiding, brave men and women from various religions that come together to defend their people. it is also not right to lock such a wrong and incorrect information so that it cannot be edited! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1700:24D2:E70:C15F:EBAD:E937:6025 (talk) 19:24, 29 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
