editI personally think this page should be deleted... I have been to the site and know of its amazing wonder -- and this is wonder has been kept a secret for so long. If this site gets too popular then the next time you or I go we will find "bob loves suzy" carved on the walls next too a wad of toilet paper wadded up over a fresh turd. This is how nearly every other archeological site in the Colorado plateau is found -- LETS KEEP FALSE KIVA A SECRET AND SACRED!!! STOP SPREADING THE WORD!!! I have a VERY popular shot of this site and I am constantly getting emails for directions and I have yet to give them out. You have to work a little, and wikipedia makes it too damn easy! Please, lets keep it sacred -- too many people will ruin it. Caddymob (talk) 07:25, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
I disagree. The location of False Kiva (and detailed trail directions) have been published in at least one book. While I don't think it's appropriate to handhold people and give them all of the information here directly (since the NPS has deemed the site to be sensitive enough not to put on a public map, but not so sensitive that they won't tell you how to find it), pretending the site doesn't exist is foolish.
Also, I dispute the "three hours" hike to get to the False Kiva. I'm not in the greatest shape, and made it down to the site in 75-90 minutes from the road, and back up in 2-2.25 hours or so. Ben (talk) 18:52, 26 September 2009 (UTC)
