Underwater graphics of Fallen Leaf Lake

edit

I recently added three models showing the underwater contours of the lake, which are based on surveys that I did of the lake in the mid-90s. These were entered into a mapping program from Maptech, which allows different models of the surface to be exported.

I'd like to suggest that we add a link to the Angora Fire of 2007, which came extremely close to damaging the Eastern side of the lake and the cabins in that area.

Since when do you get to make up a rule that says a person has to already have a Wikipedia site to be listed as a Notable Person on another? This exists everywhere on Wikipedia. Dr DK Pishel happens to be one of the most famous ophthalmological surgeons in history-world renowned when he was alive as a pioneer in advancing detached retina surgery in the 1930's-1950's. Who are you to judge such an important contributor to the world of healthcare like this? And "Kip" Theriot if the great grandson of the founder of one of the most significant newspapers in the country? 2603:8000:713F:79F:9971:8D2C:BD0E:6249 (talk) 02:21, 12 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Notable Persons

edit

It is not clear what relationship several of the listed Notable Persons have to the Lake. These include David Packard, Anita Baldwin, the Robert Mandavi Family, and Alex Gansa. It seems that either their relationship should be explained or the references to them should be deleted. Gregoryla (talk) 22:53, 11 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
