MrOllie - thank you for fixing the CNN link. however, that article was written in 2005 and the information is out-of-date. the wall street journal published an article earlier this year (“making the case for executive education” - http://online.wsj.com/article/SB123395821293458237.html) and might be a useful reference for the next revision. regarding the external links - the financial times executive education website is an excellent source of information. their newspaper is one of the most prestigious in the world and this report was just published on may 11, 2009. business week is good too but their last update on executive education came out in 2007 and the new survey is not due until later this year. the list of upcoming open enrollment executive education programs is another unique resource. the financial times profiles the executive education schools but does not provide this level of detail for the actual courses offered. look forward to your feedbackExecEdStudent (talk) 03:14, 11 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

On the CNN ref, just because a reference is a few years old does not mean we remove it. On reflection I agree that the link to the financial times can stay. I still don't see why the calendar site should be linked - it's just a listing of events and doesn't provide any real information or detail about the article topic. - MrOllie (talk) 14:05, 11 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Is there a source link for the estimated market size by Business Week? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nmvu (talkcontribs) 01:24, 9 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Providers edit

Wouldn't a link to the list of business schools would be more appropriate than naming a handfull of institutions?PurpleDuke 15:50, 25 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Mr Ollie - do you want to consider adding the IEDP.com link?; the site is neutral and as comprehensive on accredited exec-ed provision globally as it can be. There is very little useful information regarding exec-ed provision on the web outside of the providers own sites; and the FT exec-ed ranking is of questionable value when it comes to individual exec-ed programs (it's fine for MBA's but exec-ed is more complex). Criticisms of Executive education edit

Why not show some of the criticisms of executive education such as Chris Grey's work or that of Sir Ken Robinson for a broader critique of education. The conservative-right wing politics of mainstream business education go far too unchallenged and I think to be free and fair this issue should be addressed on this page. 5.69.68.43 (talk) 02:19, 17 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
