I corrected the date of the USGS aerial photo from 1962 to 1994. I knew 1962 was incorrect because the photo shows the U.S. 67 freeway next to the airfield, which did not exist until at least the 1980's; at the time U.S. 67 still ran thru Newport proper (well to the north) on what is now AR 367. Though the original source page as tagged at Commons no longer exists, I found an up-to-date page on the same site that shows the same USGS photo with a 1994 date, shortly after the freeway was built; I accordingly updated both this page and Commons. That page also contains a color aerial photo of the site from 2014 that might be of use, though it may not be PD like the 1994 photo. --RBBrittain (talk) 20:42, 24 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
