Even though tainted perhaps, by its commercial association, the Geico Insurance ad featuring Øye's song "Remind ME", behind the Caveman riding the moving sidewalk at an airport, resulted in massive exposure. In South America it appears that The Whitest Boy Alive are his best-known project moreso than Kings Of Convenience, and they get a fair bit of radio play there. The fanbase refers to them as "Los Whitest" so when searching for sources and info regarding this aspect of his career it's probably worth keeping that in mind.
