A made-up title

Nobody was ever referred to in English as "Eric of the Smallands" - should be deleted according to WP:MADEUP. /Pieter Kuiper (talk) 21:01, 23 December 2010 (UTC)

You can not even find any references to "Erik av Småland" on the Internet[1]. This is not even a translation of an established way of refering to the dukes in Swedish.

Could that be because (1) the one of them is more or less totally unknown except at Birger's son and (2) the other became King only a few months after he became Duke, thus was never known under the ducal title, though in principle it is as legitimate as his brothers' John of Finland and Carl of Sudermania? Just trying to be factual and constructive. This is only a dismbiguation, not a bio, nor any claim that these names have been in considerable use. It is only meant to help people find these dukes, and I believe it justifies its inclusion in that vain. SergeWoodzing (talk) 11:01, 26 December 2010 (UTC)

One can find occasional references to "Duke John of Finland" and to "Carl of Södermanland" (for two persons, almost always followed by "later Carl IX" or "later Carl XIII"). But redirects of nameforms that do not exist are useless and in vain. /Pieter Kuiper (talk) 11:16, 26 December 2010 (UTC)
