Gas leak

edit

I came here looking for some mention of the Gas leak - reported in this Guardian article EdwardLane (talk) 15:26, 28 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

I have started a Elgin platform article. -- Alan Liefting (talk - contribs) 18:15, 29 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Merge with Elgin platform?

edit

I think the two pages should be re-merged, with separate sections for the information about the platform and the leak. Since the leak is no longer ongoing it's easier to judge how much space is needed, I suggest it will all fit on one page. If not it could always be split out as Elgin-Franklin fields containing platform information as a subsection and 2012 gas leak at Elgin-Franklin or similar to cover the leak. I have reviewed the merging criteria and think that since there is already some duplication across the articles this probably won't be contentious so will be WP:BOLD and merge. Acb314 (talk) 12:23, 31 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
