Two questions:

1. Should "printed plates" be changed to "printing plates"?

2. Should "roentgen machines" be changed to "X-ray equipment"? X-ray sounds more idiomatic to me in English, but maybe there's a special type of machine called a roentgen machine that is different from an X-ray machine.
