How did he make a sketch of Father Damien in 1868 if he only met the man in 1888? I'm not denying the authenticity of the work since Clifford's book in 1889 shows the sketch and the date and his name in the corner. But could it possibly be a product of his imagination and not an actual likeness of Father Damien in 1868.--KAVEBEAR (talk) 01:06, 18 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
