Edmund de Lacy, Baron of PontefractEdmund de Lacy, 3rd Earl of LincolnGEC Complete Peerage gives him as the (3rd) Earl, but notes that "he does not appear to have been formally invested with the earldom, presumably because his mother outlived him". Any doubt as to whether Edmund de Lacy became 3rd Earl of Lincoln, arises as he predeceased his mother, suo jure 2nd Countess of Lincoln, but he did not predecease his father, who was joint 2nd Earl, also suo jure, not merely jure uxoris. He is thus deemed by GEC to have suceeded his father. Note: the page Edmund de Lacy, 3rd Earl of Lincoln already exists (created by me) as a redirect page Lobsterthermidor (talk) 16:07, 15 November 2020 (UTC) Relisting. —Nnadigoodluck 11:35, 23 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
