4.0% unemployment is not realistic, nearer 40%, SqueakBox 17:10, 8 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Mmm...40% unemployment is not realistic either. 28% according to CIA World Factbook.

This page needs to be updated, there is information available in government webpages and other kind of reliable sources. This will make the article more helpful to Wikipedia users, because information is really old and in some cases not that reliable. User:1994ac 12:36, 02 December 2014 (Manhattanville College)

Here are some interesting articles that talk about topics related to the Economy of Honduras. Carrie, Kahn. "Violence, Hardship Fuels Central American Immigration To U.S." Weekend Edition Sunday (NPR) (2013): Newspaper Source. Web. 2 Dec. 2014.

"Central America Connected - Commercial Data Center Growth Opportunities 2014-2015." M2presswire (2014): Newspaper Source. Web. 2 Dec. 2014. In addition, The World Bank Organization has really recent and important information that can be added and also updated to the article.User:1994ac 16:09, 02 December 2014 (Manhattanville College)

For the Article in Economy of Honduras I plan to update all the information that is out of date. In addition, I would like to add more recent years to the tables in the article because most of the information the tables contain are more than 15 years old. Besides this I would like to add a new section to the article with updated information about Honduras performance in the Human Development Index. In the Investment section I would like to add more information about the investments that have been made in Honduras and how violence and insecurity are affecting the investment in Honduras. For the article's talk page I would like for it to be more recreative and for people to actually post questions and concerns not only mistakes found in the article. I would like people to add possible contributions that can be made to the article with their reliable resources, this will actually get Wikipedia editors engaged in the topic, which will result in a near to perfect article about the Economy of Honduras. External link to tariff data edit

Hello everyone, I am working for the International Trade Centre (ITC), a UN/WTO agency that aims to promote sustainable economic development through trade promotion. I would like to propose the addition of an external link (http://www.macmap.org/QuickSearch/FindTariff/FindTariff.aspx?subsite=open_access&country=340&source=1%7CITC) that leads directly to our online database of customs tariffs applied by Honduras. Visitors can easily look up market access information for Honduras by selecting the product and partner of their interest. I would like you to consider this link under the WP:ELYES #3 prescriptions. Moreover, the reliability and the pertinence of this link can be supported by the following facts 1) ITC is part of the United Nations, and aims to share trade and market access data on by country and product as a global public good 2) No registration is required to access this information 3) Market access data (Tariffs and non-tariff measures) are regularly updated

Thank you, Divoc (talk) 09:24, 28 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
