editforgot to note - added his sport to intro paragraph, since I had no idea what he played for the first three quarters of the article, previously. 94.193.221.42 (talk) 19:42, 25 June 2010 (UTC)
Failed verification
editPlease note I accepted this removal of references because it did not support the claim. After the removal was reverted I added {{Refimprove}}, {{Failed verification}} and several {{Citation needed}} throughout the article. Non-English sources are acceptable (to me at least) provided a supporting quote from the source is included, see {{cite web}}'s "quote" parameter as an example of how to do this. -84user (talk) 20:58, 30 June 2010 (UTC)
You could also remove word Montenegrin, 'cause you can't verify that at all. He was born in today Montenegro, but as kid he came in Belgrade and lives there for last 40 years. In the given source he says: A ovo drugo, ja sam Crnogorac, državljanin Srbije, ali Crnogorac (and for the rest, I'm a Montenegrin, citizen of Serbia, but Montenegrin). Montenegrin can means both ethnic group and people from Montenegro (mostly Serbs, aside ethnic Montenegrins). Knowing the fact that Montenegro does not allow dual citizenship, if somebody came with an evidence that he now has Montengrin citizenship, no problem - word Serbian should not stay in the article. But a anonymous user that constantly removes doesn't want to see that (and he perfectly knows Serbian). -- Bojan Talk 05:51, 1 July 2010 (UTC)
Please note I am trying to follow the wikipedia principles of verifiability here. The citation given to support Montenegrin-Serbian is in a language that may be difficult for other editors to check. I myself cannot read Serbian so I depend on quotes such as the ones you just gave. I have just now placed it in the the citation template. I feel that problems such as these are simplified by adding more information, this is partly why I add {{Refimprove}} and {{citation needed}} templates - citations greatly help other editors that guard against vandalism and other unwanted edits. As far as nationality and citizenship is concerned, there are several approaches: state place of birth, what the passport states, what the subject says themselves - each one with a source. -84user (talk) 10:04, 1 July 2010 (UTC)
Sorry, I was angry. This stubborn IP drives me crazy -- Bojan Talk 10:44, 1 July 2010 (UTC)
- I know this is I am jumping into unknown waters, but I placed both Montenegro's and Serbia's flagicons next to Vujošević's name. We all win. You cannot argue with that now can you? --Kilibarda (talk) 03:59, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
