Drumcliff / Drumcliffe edit
I have before me four maps, all of which name this place Drumcliff, not Drumcliffe. Any source for the extra e? Wammes Waggle 15:17, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
- My Ireland 2007 daily boxed calendar, published in the United States, shows a picture of a High Cross located at "Drumcliffe Cemetery" in County Sligo. I realize this isn't a particularly reliable source, but at least it shows that there must be a reason for the extra "e"(incidentally, I wasn't the one who put the article at this spelling). - The numbers of Google hits (talk about unreliable) for each is not very much different so it appears both versions are in use. Picture of a roadsign or place name sign, anyone? Wammes Waggle 06:12, 20 September 2007 (UTC)

- How about this [1]? The road signs in the village actually do say Drumcliff (no "e"), but the accepted local usage is Drumcliffe, and the version with "e" is used in the titles of all local businesses, and is included in nearly all local addresses. Bh02306069 (talk) 23:43, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
