Evan Harris

Reverted the edit which added Dr Evan Harris to the list. One Daily Mail article referred to EH as 'Dr Death' but it's by no means common currency - surely too political to be included without caveats/explanation. There may be disagreement as to whether Evan Harris deserves the title, but this entry is about who Dr.Death may refer to, and it may well refer to Evan Harris.

Evan Harris is referred to as Dr Death in the Daily Mail, several blogs in the Telegraph, a campaign leaflet by the Animal Protection Party, an independent leaflet circulated in Oxford by Lynda Rose. The combination of 'Evan Harris' and 'Dr.Death' currently returns 5 results on Google News. "I am a great admirer of the hon. Member for Oxford, West and Abingdon, and have supported many of the causes that have earned him the nickname "Dr. Death" in the Catholic press." Evan Harris gets into the Top 20 of a google search for 'Dr.Death', and into the Top 10 on Google BlogSearch.

This wikipedia entry begins 'Dr. Death may refer to ...', I think there is plenty of justification for stating that Dr.Death may refer to Dr. Evan Harris. The article does not state, and there is no reason to suppose from the article, that any of the people are commonly referred to by that title. I have reintroduced my entry as follows, I am not too concerned by the actual wording used, but Dr.Evan Harris is definitely one of the people Dr. Death may refer to-

Michael Irwin

Since Evan Harris in the link mentioned above http://www.secularism.org.uk/dr-evan-harris-and-lord-avebury.html mentions apologizing borrowing the name "Dr. Death" from Michael Irwin, it would seem that Michael Irwin should be included as well.
