I am a fan of Doyle but the bit in here about Eric Clapton being "stumped" trying to learn 2 of Doyle's songs is hilarious. Thank you for a good old chuckle.

Response: I believe Eric was stumped with respect to some of Doyle's riffs, which were less obvious to Eric since he doesn't play an upside-down guitar....

Please sign your contributions on Wikipedia. A musician can work out a way to play anything - s/he'll then do it well or badly. In either case it it irrelevant, as the text comes under the category of original research. The following text has therefore been deleted but pasted here until someone can come up with a source for it:

Stumped, he phoned Doyle to tell him he was one of his favorite new artists and invite him to a meeting and to participate in the recording of that album, ...

"Doyle usually plays the Fender Stratocaster but will occasionally play some Gibson guitars, either playing on left-handed models or right-handed models upside-down. Doyle plays guitar left-handed but his guitars are strung as if to be played by a right-handed player. In other words, the low E string is at the bottom of his guitar, and the high string at the top. This fact and his unique playing style can be seen clearly in the "In the Flesh: Live" DVD footage." Anyone know why he learned to play this way? I think it deserves consideration. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.220.144.115 (talk) 21:00, 26 April 2009 (UTC) I can't answer your question but Albert King plays his guitar the same way. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2603:8081:8740:51F:C0DE:20A9:D954:6E19 (talk) 20:04, 27 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Work with Roger Waters edit

There should be some mention of Doyle performing during the tours of Roger Waters of Pink Floyd in 2000. He served as a lead guitarist (along with Andy Fairweather-Low and Snowy White) and lead vocalist. Here's an example: [1] --Leahtwosaints (talk) 08:50, 13 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Age edit

If DB was born on Christmas Eve 1968, he is by now 50 years old. Could someone correct that please? Thank you! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2003:6:310C:4427:8C43:5A0A:8117:C930 (talk) 20:50, 27 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
