Gilbert edit

MacDonald and MacDonald, in The Clan Donald, vol 2, page 34, state that a son of Domhnall named Gilbert appears in the 1450 MS. This is demonstrably wrong. The only man with this name in the pedigree is listed as a son of a man named Gofraidh. Munro and Munro, in The Acts of the Lords of the Isles, 1336–1493, pages 279, 282–283, don't accord any descendants to Domhnall, and further thank David Sellar for his assistance with 1467 MS concerning Domhnall.--Brianann MacAmhlaidh (talk) 01:18, 11 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
