Orphaned references in Dinosaur National Monument

edit

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Dinosaur National Monument's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "nris":

  • From Historic district (United States): NRIS Database, National Register of Historic Places, National Park Service. Retrieved April 4, 2007.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 20:20, 24 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Could use a different map

edit

I don't know what the map rules are for National Park info boxes but, since the park straddles the boundary between Utah and Colorado, and since the park's main attraction is on the Utah side, it doesn't make a lot of sense for the map to show just the Colorado side. Indeed, many of the park's visitors visit the Colorado side on accident, thinking that is where the Carnegie Quarry is located - the use of the Colorado map on this page could be a contributing factor to that problem. Needs Reorganization

edit

This article needs reorganization. As is, it jumps around and does not flow in a coherent way. Carpenter, Kenneth (talk) 15:58, 28 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

How did the fossils get there?

edit

Was it a flood, was it a quadisadants, or was a predator trap? 192.208.125.50 (talk) 14:36, 9 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
