According user's User:Zjarri addition [[1]] although he admitted that his edits were wrong [[2]] (addition of a 1888 event that he 'participated' while he died at 1870...) he refused to remove them. So I do it myself. Since this Dimitrios Botsaris (son of Markos Botsaris) didn't participated with Koulouriotis on something I've corrected the wikiproject tags, as per current article.Alexikoua (talk) 13:16, 10 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
The Greek article says he died in 1871. Which is correct? Either way, the article should be moved to have endash in the dates, or, even better, not to include dates but some other disambiguating factor. Constantine ✍ 15:00, 10 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
Dimitrios Botsaris was not an ethnic Greek, so stop adding completely false information. He belonged to the Albanian Souliote Bostaris clan, and as such the template is required in this article. Also, "Greek Army General" is not proper English. Nishjan (talk) 05:04, 19 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
Botsaris was not ethnic Greek-> that's irrelevant here. In fact his mother was ethnic Greek. But you need to try to familiarize yourself with wp:MOSBIO and avoid to pretend that there is disruption. Botsaris was a Greek citizen and national and this will stay on his article intro.Alexikoua (talk) 23:20, 20 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
Actually the fact that he wasn't an ethnic Greek is important per MOSBIO, why are you adding false information to this article? And why are you, rather desperately, trying to remove the template related to his kin, about the Albanian Souliotes? It seems like your are edit-warring on multiple articles lately, you really need to calm down and take a deep breath. Nishjan (talk) 06:32, 21 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
You understand that you are in deep wp:OR territory. Nishjans view: the fact that he wasn't an ethnic Greek is important per MOSBIO, but MOSBIO states: Ethnicity, religion, or sexuality should generally not be in the lead unless relevant to the subject's notability. Similarly, neither previous nationalities nor the country of birth should be mentioned in the lead unless relevant to the subject's notability. Conclusion: MOSBIO is against your claim you need to get used to it. Also don't put words in my mouth he was a Greek national and citizen most of his life and that's not 'false information' as you claim. Further disruption will be reported. I am not sure if you even look at what you are doing when you revert, but the only person who has added multiple times a wiki link to the Greek ethnicity in the lead of this article is you. Read again what I wrote above for more information. Nishjan (talk) 22:23, 21 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
As I've imagined: you don't care to check the information you are adding. I have to report this kind of disruption of you add again information that concerns a different person [[5]]. D. Botsaris (son of Markos) died in 1871, as such it is impossible to have contributed in something that happened in the 1880s. Try to read this discussion from the beginning it will be help you understand that Skendi refers to D. Botsaris (son of Notis).Alexikoua (talk) 04:55, 24 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
