"Tens of thousands of years ago..." People generally have no idea how recent the glacial retreat has been. "Rock collectors may discover "sacred crosses" of chiastolite of a type considered to be of spiritual value by the Algonquin people..." If this were true, at least a few of them would have been recovered in privileged situations at archaeological sites, and conclusions as to their value to Native Americans would have been surmised; the crosses do have sentimental, even superstitious value for modern-day writers, to be sure.--Wetman (talk) 01:19, 30 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
I know there are some awkward passages in this article but I'm not sure what changes, exactly, you're suggesting. If you have specific fixes in mind, do just make whatever changes you feel are appropriate. Be bold and all that. Thanks! - Boston (talk) 08:03, 30 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
