The article is incomplete in some aspects especially with the way the government plot against Daw Aung Sun Su Kyi. They tried to smear the whole thing as it was the result of some cracked people trying to kill the leader of NLD. Given the strength of the attackers and convoys, their main target should be the leader and they could have killed her successfully in common sense. Perhaps it could be the inefficiency of the attackers which led to the miraculous escape of the Lady. I somehow believe that the junta is trying to kill all the people in convoy except the Lady. Daw Aung Sun Su Kyi was not in good health by that time. Another possible reason is that her loyal supporters risked their lives to protect her and drove off before they were overwhelmed by the thugs. Some unfortunate people might have been left behind and killed by the attackers. Based on the accounts of the survivors (as far as I heard), they could not wittness the whole affair as they had to rush for survival together with the Lady. As usual the junta didn't disclose the case and later house-arrested the Lady to, as they said, protect her. So the whole thing could be the junta's plot to arrest her again with a reason. Someone who listened to BBC report when the massacre took place should contribute in this article.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 155.69.5.236 (talkcontribs)
