Talk:Delhi Belly (film)

Latest comment: 8 months ago by Rsrikanth05 in topic Name of the character played by Vijay Raaz

There is nothing about this in IMDb. JohnCD (talk) 19:32, 10 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Is IMDB the sole criteria to judge what should be Wikipedia or not? There are scores of relevant news articles about Delhi Belly on the internet? How come IMDB's not having something get precedence over them? Crackjack (talk) 19:42, 10 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

  • OK, I apologise - IMDb evidently doesn't cover Bollywood well - and I've taken off the "hoax" tag. But it's still too early for an article, till shooting is confirmed to have started. JohnCD (talk) 20:20, 10 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Credible sources edit

We are trying to find a credible source for the following phrase Akshat had to compile 15 drafts before the movie went on the floor. It took him more than 3 years to finish writing the story. We have seen the following 3 sources till now. 1 (rojakhan.com), 2 (indianentertainment.info) and 3 (glamsham.com) 1 is a personal blog which just links to 2. 2 seems to have an authentic interview with Akshat Verma but the site doesn't seem credible. The About Us page itself does not inspire confidence. Alexa details also are not helping. 3; Glamsham.com for starters is already linked by 260+ wikipedia articles and has much better alexa details. I would like to hear more from other editors. Anshuk (talk) 20:02, 4 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

First of all my apologies for a late reply. However I think glamsham will be the best bet, sources are part of journalism, one will have to stick with the credibility of publication and not it's sources. Fanofbollywood (talk) 06:34, 7 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

I agree with Anshuk. I read the Glamsham article and it should not be credible source. They credit the information in the article to so-called "sources" which is questionable. At least, IndianEntertainment has a credible interview and has put itself out there to be discredited. Also, maybe we need to go through Glamsham articles from now onward to check its credibility if all they do is cite to so-called "sources." So having 260 wiki cited articles (which they might have cited themselves) should not inspire total confidence. The articles, the content, the actual source of the information needs to be checked. Another important point is that the Indian Entertainment article was posted 2 days before the Glamsham article. In addition, I checked the alexa link; there's a review of Glamsham that says "this site is nothing but a rehash of content already available on the net elsewhere." --MajorBollywoodFan (talk) 20:17, 4 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Name of the character played by Vijay Raaz edit

The name of the character played by Vijay Raaz is mentioned as Somayajulu. However, nowhere is he referenced by this name in the movie. The end credits lists the character's name as 'Cowboy'. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 19:30, 9 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
