How does the TV Tropes aspect of Deconstruction fit here? edit
Obviously I'm biased, but it would seem to me that the "deconstruction of tropes" (and yes, I know this probably predates TVTropes)term has gained some popularity for of describing a specific way of writing/creating new works which play around in some ways with the usual tropes of a given genre.
