Talk:Davis Museum at Wellesley College

Loss of artwork edit

I recall a report in the Boston Globe maybe a decade ago, about the inadvertent loss of a painting from the collection of the Davis Museum. It had been loaned out to another museum, and then returned as planned. For some reason, it languished in a hallway somewhere, until it apparently was thrown away. Does anybody have more info about what happened, and what was the aftermath of the loss? Reify-tech (talk) 21:42, 8 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
