Fake company

edit

This "company" has nothing to do with Russo-Balt, please, remove link to Russo-Balt as predecessor.

Moreover, Latvian company has no right to use Russian state coat of arms, this is illegal.

And judging by absent website it does not exist anymore. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.165.173.131 (talk) 15:45, 3 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Latvian?

edit

"DARTZ (DARTZ Prombron) is a Latvian manufacturer of armored vehicles". Why is a Latvian automaker included into the list of Russian automakers at the bottom of the page, and not included into the list of Latvian automakers?

"Dartz Моторз Kомпании" - questionable Russian

edit

With regards to the Russian translation of the company name (in parentheses, at the very beginning of the page):

First of all, "Dartz" is not in Russian, or even in the Cyrillic alphabet. Secondly, "Моторз" is a Cyrillic transliteration of "Motorz"/"Motors" and does not actually mean "Motors" in Russian. And finally, "Kомпании" is in Russian, but it's not in the proper form of the word. It's either the possessive form ("of the Company") or plural ("Companies"), neither of which make sense in this case. If you look at the Russian version of this article, you'll see that it references the English/Latvian version of the company name and does not have a weird pseudo-transliteration of any sort.

I propose to get rid of the Russian translation in the parentheses, entirely (at least in the English version of the article). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shleepy (talkcontribs) 22:57, 11 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

I am in no way an expert, but it links to something completely unrelated in my mind. ---- Bernburgerin (talk) 21:10, 6 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
