- Although Mao (who has Carrier powers) is immune to the powers of Nosferatu and other stronger monsters, she is still vulnerable to low-powered monsters like zombies.
- The English version of the manga contains much more dialogue than its Japanese counterpart in the form of added thought balloons on each page. This is due to the editors poking fun at Dark Edge's "B-movie feel."
