The tone of this article doesn't seem very neutral, reads more like a fansite or a review. Belovedfreak 16:25, 31 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Can anyone honestly tell how the man looks like from this picture? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.110.220.133 (talk) 14:09, 16 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

I think it's unfair to split people post mortem, after YU split in 90's. The man was born and made his best work in a state funded Yu film industry, before the split. Revisionism at it's lowest. Just like Tesla. The man was born in Yugoslavia, on what today's Croatia, had a Hungarian last name, was an atheist and lived & died in USA. A true example of Yugoslavian pluralism and cosmopolitan values, yet diplomatic wars are waged for his bones. No one cites Jozef Staljin a Georgian nowadays, do they? Even do CCCP does not exist anymore he is still a Soviet.

Bottom line is that most of ex Yu republics are putting a huge effort to claim the heroes of the past, because almost nothing that will endure the test of time, hasn't been made since. 77.77.245.181 (talk) 21:16, 27 June 2015 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.77.245.181 (talk) 21:13, 27 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
