Members List

edit

Suggesting to keep the members list in simple alphabetical order instead of hierarchic (the hierarchy on the official site may change according to a member's growing or decreasing popularity) or chronologic (the order in which they joined is in some cases shady, or simultaneous). • I would simply suggest to use the order from the japanese Wiki-site´s example - arranged after age. I think it´s neutral, clear and objective. Just, maybe arranging them after joining time (like on the offical site) would have helped to get a clearer view over the history here, on the other side, too. --Vanilla Ichigo 20:08, 9 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
  • (I moved your comment just to keep this discussion threaded) I do not know that age order is intuitive enough for people not familiarized with the subject. I believe a simple alphabetical order is the most neutral order possible since it's the standard order used for most lists of people. If the surname order is what makes it seem confusing, we could order them by first name instead. However, I'm not contrary to ordering the members according to joining date, as long as we can confirm references for that order. Inviolata 00:42, 10 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
  • Confirmations might be the order on the official site, which is confirmed by their official history itself. Endo and Yanagi were first, then the bunch of Shirota to Kaji, and so on. I think we should respect the official order, plus it´s making it more interesting and connectiong to the history and website, than a new alphabetical order. But, that´s just my opinion, I don´t mind if you want to change back and keep the alphabetical order, it´s no problem, I only thought nobody would mind if I change it. --Vanilla Ichigo 01:45, 10 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
  • (apologies for the delayed reply) You have a good point with connecting the members order to the History section. I've changed the order back to the joining timeline, and in cases where members joined together I used first the audition placing order and second the display order on the official site to break ties. If there're any suggestions to tweaking the current displayed order, I'd love to hear them. Inviolata (talk) 17:54, 30 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Objectiveness

edit

Wikipedia is not a personal fansite, so the information needs to be kept clear, neutral and objective. :) Also, most members have their own page now, so individual information, releases and links should be under the member's page to keep the group's one uncluttered. • Feel free to make changes, I only created the article for the D-Boys, because I wanted wikipedia users and other users to be able to contribute information for them. --Vera26 04:35, 13 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Prince Series

edit

Since the Prince Series has turned out to not be exclusively a D-BOYS project, I've removed the lines about those releases from the all-group inclusive media. Those releases should be under Araki's, Suzuki's and Seto's individual pages, like the Boy's/Men's Series are under Yanagi's, Endo's and Shirota's. WikiProject BIO Assessment

edit

This is a group and not a biography of an individual actor. Per WP:BIO scope guidelines. I have removed the BIO tag on this talk page. This might be within the scope of the Japan project. C. Williams (talk) 16:40, 19 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Adachi's return

edit

We should leave him under former members until we can reference his return with more than a limited edition flyer available to only fanclub members (= until we get an official announcement at the official site). Once he's officially added back, should he go between Wada and Kaji or at the bottom of the list? Inviolata (talk) 02:44, 13 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

D-Boys (The Airsoft Manufacturer)

edit

Where is the page for the airsoft manufacturer called D-Boys? I think they also sometimes go by the name Boyi-D...but, I came to Wikipedia searching for the page for D-Boys so I could locate their official website, because a Google search for it yielded no useful results. Can somebody please tell me where is the Wikipedia page/article for D-Boys, the airsoft manufacturer? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.79.138.145 (talk) 09:07, 24 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
