When I was last on the copeland Islands, there were a lot of sheep droppings around. Does sheep grazing still take place on them?Kuifjeenbobbie 11:44, 23 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Etymology of name

edit

Does anyone know the origins of the name 'Copeland'? Is it named after an English or Scottish landowner or planter or did it once have a different name? I would be curious and it might be worth mentioning in the text. I've also added the current Irish name of the islands. An Muimhneach Machnamhach 12:25, 20 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
