My re-write is now in place. The section on models from 1990's- present may need some expansion but I am not an expert in this area. Snibbo 10:44, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
I can offer a comprehensive rewrite of this page with links to other articles. My re-write addresses most, if not all of the issues flagged for attention.
It will basically throw away what has already been written and start from scratch. Most of the factual information is still there but the article is (I hope) quite neutral.
