"Rubber Duck" edit
Is there more to the name "Rubber Duck"? There might be, as I found out that Akron, OH is sometimes called 'The Rubber' amongst truck drivers! -andy 80.129.112.52 11:19, 30 January 2007 (UTC)

Joshua Duncan Sloan edit
Not sure where to add this, but the '11 long haired friends of Jesus' are lead by a Rev Joshua Duncan Sloan.. Who shows up in at least one other Peckinpah film, the Ballad of Cable Hogue. Kweston (talk) 21:43, 28 June 2009 (UTC)
Citation needed for the "Some background" section edit
The whole section lacks any verifiable citation or quotable source. Material in Wikipedia is all about quotable AND verifiable contributions. Original researchs, creative freedom or personal gut feelings are unacceptable in Wikipedia, so the whole section either be properly quoted or completely removed.Flurry (talk) 19:28, 19 March 2012 (UTC)

From Michael Deeley's wiki article http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Deeley to the BBC documentary "Sam Peckinpah: Man of Iron", Michael Deeley is credited, whether he likes it or not, as the producer of Convoy. What gives???User:JCHeverly 14:49, 13 September 2013 (UTC)
Cold county Sheriff edit
From the Plot section: "The "trucker" turns out to be cold county Sheriff "Dirty Lyle" Wallace ...". What's that supposed to mean? Is a "cold county Sheriff" a particular rank or status of sheriff? (It doesn't show up anywhere else.) Is he a "cold", heartless, cynical, individual (in which case the sentence needs rewording)? Is he the sheriff of Cold County (in which case it needs to be capitalised)? Is it a typo? Or does it mean something else entirely? I've got no idea. Can somebody please fix.
