Untitled edit

I am in the process of revamping this article as part of a school assignment and have been re-arranging, expanding, and removing some parts of the text in order to bring it up to Wikipedia standards. Most of the first half of the original seemed to have been directly plagiarized from The New School's website, and there were very few sources for any of the biographical information. I'm trying to work on it but please mention any issues you might have with my edits. Thanks, Crobinson180908 (talk) 23:44, 13 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

ART & FEMINISM 2017 edit

I am reworking this page to include more details from articles since 2010, specifically a paragraph on McCardell's relationship to modernism and why her Monastic dress carried such meaning for American women and style. I am also looking for another image of a Monastic dress that illustrate Annemarie Strassel's 2012 work. CatonMA2 (talk) 20:57, 14 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

  • CatonMA2 Sounds good. Please make sure that the image you use has the correct clearances for Wikipedia. It may be easiest to take your own photograph of an actual dress on display in a museum, if you can find one. Mabalu (talk) 17:17, 15 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
  • Thanks for your help. If I can't find an image that meets Wikipedia standards, I will describe and possibly quote Dorothy Shaver, the Lord & Taylor executive quoted by Strassel. CatonMA2 (talk) 17:39, 15 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
