The car's advanced technology was the focus of a memorable television advertising campaign showing the car transforming into a giant dancing robot, though this is not a standard feature of the C4 at present. Pity.

does anyone know where one would find a link to that ad?--142.167.131.253 23:57, 14 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

The ads are available for download from the UK Citroën C4 website but I'm not sure what a direct URL would be. BigJohnD 03:07, 9 February 2007 (UTC)BigJohnDReply

Shouldn't we split the two 1.6 HDi engines into two lines? (I would do it, but the code looks so complicated!) SmilingBoy 16:39, 6 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Negative battery pole - hidden and inaccessible The C4 has a hidden and inaccessible negative battery pole. I've tried to help start another car, and couldn't. With any other car I've ever used, helping others to start when their battery was empty, was easy. Does anyone knows how it can be done with the Citroen C4? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.139.226.37 (talk) 20:49, 7 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Deletion of the promo image of Citroën C4 II

edit

Here is a cut and paste from my talk page

Thanks for uploading File:Citroen-c4-2010.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. feydey (talk) 10:32, 2 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

File:2005–2008 Citroën C4 hatchback.jpg is a reasonable replacement. Moreover, the article says "The second generation Citroën C4 was presented in June 2010" — if it's been presented, it surely can be photographed. Nyttend (talk) 14:17, 5 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
a) I guess it's the same in the US as in Europe, there are multiple generations of cars with the same name, you wouldn't illustrate the 2010 Camry with a picture of the 2005 Camry, or the Golf V with the Golf IV. File:2005–2008 Citroën C4 hatchback.jpg is not a reasonable replacement. b) I think I have quite clearly written that the car has been presented, this means that pictures have been distributed to the press, but it has not been shown publicly. The car will be publicly displayed in four months. So please revert your deletion, fair use applies till October 2010. Thanks. Hektor (talk) 16:35, 5 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
You can take a picture of a previous edition and describe the changes in words. Moreover, you could create a composite image from nonfree images that have been distributed publicly; because you'd be using several such images, it wouldn't be a derivative work of any of them. Nyttend (talk) 16:40, 5 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
I am the third party; Feydey was the first to dispute its use. Why can't you describe the changes in words? Nyttend (talk) 16:51, 5 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
It is a completely different car
Description must rely on reliable sources, not the editor's imression based on few publicity shots (or, worse, inofficial shots that are not reliably confirmed as the real deal). So if there's no third-pary reports on the new C4 (there can't be any at the moment: the prototype was unveiled today, and Citroen has not yet announced when production will commence) there's no desription besides the measurements taken off C's own site. As for the picture: for all practical purposes the new C4 does not exist, so until it ships to dealers - the top spot belongs to current (old) model. Do we need a promo pic in the bottom? I think not. East of Borschov (talk) 06:42, 9 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please create individual Wikipedia page for Citroën C4 Aircross SUV

edit

Hey everyone, I have request for anyone willing to create a Wikipedia article for the Citroën C4 Aircross SUV. The reason why I am saying this is because the C4 Aircross's replacement, the Citroën C5 Aircross, is due soon for a Chinese and European release. Besides, there is limited information shown on the article talking about the C4 compact. Please create another webpage for the C4 Aircross. Thanks and I appreciate it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:30A:2E1C:8600:6C3D:8407:A3CA:7866 (talk) 06:02, 5 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
