I doubt the C8.R uses a LT5 edit

The LT5 is a supercharged engine. From what I've heard, it's a flat-plane crank engine. The engine may show up in the next Z06 or ZR-1, possibly branded "LT6" or "LT7". Will (Talk - contribs) 04:56, 16 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

The engine designation is the LT6, the specifications of which are quite easy to find. In short, it shares nothing with previous Corvette engines. It is an all-alloy, 5.5 litre, 4-cam, 32-valve, naturally-aspirated engine with a flat plane crank and a dry sump. The street versions use the more typical 6.2 litre pushrod engine.
