Military Career? edit

Hi. How come there is no mention of his military career? Did the guy with the best score or performance in military academy history of the United States have a military career? I would think or hope there would be some interesting stuff on this topic. Either way, actually. I am currently in the middle of other research so I can't pursue the question. But maybe somebody else can take me up on it, and check it out? Have fun... Regards... Steve Stevenmitchell (talk) 16:23, 23 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Mason's West Point record was surpassed in 1884 edit

Irving Hale graduated from West Point in 1884 with 2070.4 points out of a possible 2075 (99.7783%), while Charles Mason graduated with 1,995.5 out of a possible 2,000 (99.75%). It's close, but Mason is the 2nd highest score ever achieved at West Point, knocking Lee down to 3rd and MacArthur to 4th. -MVD31590 (talk) 03:38, 2 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
