Image edit

Can someone if they in the area take a picture of the Eighth Avenue Line platforms since the image on the article is being used in both infoboxes. 205.245.189.151 (talk) 01:12, 15 October 2010 (UTC) That was me. Gfoley4 | Wanna chat? 01:13, 15 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

A complex edit

> New York City Subway rapid transit station

It isn't a station, it's a complex. Fix it pls. 79.179.237.166 (talk) 13:40, 20 May 2011 (UTC) That was me. Vcohen (talk) 14:00, 5 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Some problems edit

I see some problems here, but my knowledge is not enough to fix them.

1. In the References there are 2 lines that must be in the '2005 fire' paragraph.

2. In all other articles dedicated to complexes, the station parts are called '... platform(s)'. This article is the only one whose parts aren't called so. (And, if anybody fixes it, it's necessary to change the redirections that point here.)

3. There are 2 complexes that have no own page: Bleecker Street / Broadway – Lafayette Street and 14th Street / Sixth Avenue.

Thank you.

Well, I've moved the first link. The second one is dead.

Two stations, not one edit

The A/C/E platforms are presented here as one station with one infobox titled "station", and only somewhere in the text it's written that the station is actually two stations. The same problem exists in the Canal Street (New York City Subway) article with the N/Q/R platforms. Only counting each of these stations as two, one can get the total number of 468 stations.

Is there any chance to change the infoboxes and write "two stations" instead of "station", or anything like this? The current situation is misleading.

I completely agree with you. I've noticed this myself and World Trade Center is for the E train as Chambers Street is for the A & C. Considering how long this page could get if the infoboxes are changed, I recommend splitting the article up. 68.44.51.49 (talk) 21:22, 16 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
Another solution is to add station layouts to all infoboxes, look here please. Note the two doubled layouts at the end that are intended for the two above mentioned pairs of stations. Vcohen (talk) 21:41, 16 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Why isn't Oculus a stand alone article? edit

Doesn't this work of art merit its own article, a la Life Underground? --CmdrDan (talk) 00:24, 12 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Removing the first "Clear" template edit

Greetings and felicitations. I'd like to remove the first Clear template to allow the infobox to run into the "Station layout" section and thus run alongside the table. This would reduce the height of the article and the (in my 1600 pixel browser window) massive amount of white space—more than a screen's worth—that the current layout entails. (With my setup this [would] save roughly 600 pixels of space.) Comments? —DocWatson42 (talk) 04:51, 27 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

@Epicgenius: or anyone else? —DocWatson42 (talk) 09:50, 14 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
I'm fine with that. epicgenius (talk) 15:10, 14 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Merge with Cortlandt Street? edit

Now that a free connection has been opened these two stations, perhaps the two articles should be merged? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hhm8 (talkcontribs)
