Cleared of misconduct

edit

He wasn't cleared : the charges were dropped due to insufficient evidence. To be cleared would imply it went to court, surely? --Oscarthecat  23:30, 25 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

It wasn't a court, it was a GMC tribunal, I think. Hopefully the article now reflects the fact that the case never made it to court- I don't think it states anywhere in this article that he was cleared, sensu stricto. The diff with the previous edit is here. Note that the linked BBC article DOES use the specific phrase 'cleared'; other sources differ. Cheers, Badgerpatrol 00:39, 26 March 2006 (UTC)Reply
Thanks, I'd seen the BBC article, where the title is definitely wrong. This article now more accurate. --Oscarthecat  09:02, 26 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

No longer Chief Executive

edit

Chai Patel is no longer the Chief Executive of the Priory Group. I am unsure who is at this current time. Exothermic Reaction 18:35, 13 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
